I haven’t used a CAP in over two years! It’s obsolete with all the good cards now.

Well, show me another SP that can hit like my SP-CAP.
And guess what? you can do both.
Play CAP pitcher for a game, he gets tired... play him at another position (using a different archetype setup, of course) for 2 games and he is now rested and ready to pitch again.Right now I use my CAP as SP and then at 1B for days off.
Dumbest thing they ever added to the game... The cap was always a bridge to the good cards come out and to provide a balancing tool for people who didn't put 1500 in the game on opening day. Most people didn't use them when the 99's came out. No way that happens this year.
It takes time to grind out an archetype, assuming you don't cheat it and just sim it all. Even then it takes time to do so.
Doesn't make it any less dumb. You can get a cap reliever up to 99 stamina and throw him every game. The cap player should still be a bridge till the better players come out and not better than the 99's.
Why? How is it any more "dumb" than old dead legends playing in same game as the live series players?
It's a fantasy mode, isn't it?You should be playing with the players that are in the game. A fantasy pitcher is based off real pitchers and not the most obnoxious toxic thing to get you a win at a game that your not good at.
If only they set up an event to cater to players who want to only play with guys that are in the game. Maybe someone should suggest this to SDS
Dumb argument. You can't play with your whole roster in event games and br is even more limited. Cap's again should just bridge you until the better cards come out..

Yeah ban CAPs from Ranked. That would be great. Then they can go cheese the cpu all they want with their BS

Says who? You?
Well, Randy Johnson is one of the best pitchers ever. Yes, he was 6'10" threw sidearm with high velocity and a nasty slider but he didn't have a 100 mph cutter, screwball and 70 mph circle change. Imagine the numbers he would have put up.
I think Gold Diekman has a sub 2 era for me (I'll have to check but he did last time I looked). A CAP with all the pitches I stated is just ridiculous. At least limit stamina and pitches to 3.

I have a cap rp and when I go play rs I don’t see him in my load outs? I just figured they patched it because they are so strong. Is anyone still able to use cap pitchers in ranked ?
