Cap Pitcher
-
CAP pitcher just feels like such a waste when there’s a bunch of good pitchers already and when you can have a hitter with 110+ to all hitting stats, 90+ fielding, and 80+ speed

Well, show me another SP that can hit like my SP-CAP.
And guess what? you can do both.
Play CAP pitcher for a game, he gets tired... play him at another position (using a different archetype setup, of course) for 2 games and he is now rested and ready to pitch again.Right now I use my CAP as SP and then at 1B for days off.

Dumbest thing they ever added to the game... The cap was always a bridge to the good cards come out and to provide a balancing tool for people who didn't put 1500 in the game on opening day. Most people didn't use them when the 99's came out. No way that happens this year.

It takes time to grind out an archetype, assuming you don't cheat it and just sim it all. Even then it takes time to do so.

You must have not gone against a 6'10" Lefty submarine version that has a 100 mph cutter 96 mph sinker and 70 mph breaking ball on legend because once you have you will gladly trade the bat 1 game to have that beast on the mound.....

Doesn't make it any less dumb. You can get a cap reliever up to 99 stamina and throw him every game. The cap player should still be a bridge till the better players come out and not better than the 99's.

Thats not a CAP problem, thats a people problem.

Not a fan of CAPs...would rather they not be in the game.

CAPs are lame. All of these different cards in the game and we still have CAPs…

Why? How is it any more "dumb" than old dead legends playing in same game as the live series players?
It's a fantasy mode, isn't it? -

It's a fantasy mode, isn't it?Legends and live series players are based off real people and real performances (albeit juiced sometimes). CAPs are switch hitting freaks that can throw the nastiest pitches ever and have god like fielding and hitting on top of the cheesy side arm releases.
Big difference. They should be nerfed and I honestly don’t know why SDS wants them in DD. Seems like it’s taking money out of their pocket.

Says anyone who is actually good at the game. They should not juice a player to where they are actually better that the real life 99's. I know you can't win with out the cap reliever but most of us can..

They should not juice your CAP but its cool to juice other players based on 1 month performance or the ceiling of a prospect. I don't care for CAP that much either but that argument doesn't make a lot of sense.

You mean a player that actually did something irl shouldn't get a juiced card? Again cap's used to be among the best cards in the games until the 99's came out. This year they will be on everyone's team all year long especially cap pitchers. No reason for that. They only release cards to keep content coming so having a billy hamilton milestone card is awesome to see. What did abella danger or insert any other pornstar do in the game?

Dumb argument. You can't play with your whole roster in event games and br is even more limited. Cap's again should just bridge you until the better cards come out..
