Being that Vlad is hitting .330 after today, where he went 0-3, I'm thinking you lied about a bunch of other things...

Xander is hitting like .310.. so there's another lie.. he's also 8th in OPS in AL.. not top 5..

    Devers is 5th in RBI...

Vasquez has a few SBs? Cooool.... MVP.

Also, it's for May... they don't randomly choose POTM's.... The POTM's are Semien and Tatis.. because they were by far the best of May.

Why would they be a better pick than the May POTM award winner Semien? None of them had better months than him. Not even close actually

I think he meant from a useable card standpoint.

Sox relievers have a 1.59 June ERA. In their 3 games at NYY, they allowed 1 ER and held the Yankees to a .114 AVG (4-for-35).

    2021 Reliever ERAs:
    Whitlock – 1.63
    Ottavino – 2.66
    Barnes – 2.73
    Sawamura – 2.78

Devers’ rankings among AL third basemen:

    14 HR – 1st
    43 RBI – 1st
    .582 SLG – 1st
    .928 OPS – 1st
    17 doubles – 1st
    31 XBH – 1st

Xander Bogaerts just went through an 0-for-24 slump and is still leading AL shortstops in most categories:

    .312 AVG – 1st
    .373 OBP – 1st
    .538 SLG – 1st
    .910 OPS – 1st
    25 XBH – 1st
    15 doubles – 1st
    149 wRC+ – 1st
    2.4 WAR – 1st
    10 HR – 2nd
    33 RBI – 2nd

Christian Vázquez has stolen 5 bases this year. The rest of the AL catchers on the All-Star ballot have combined to steal 1 base.

Martín Pérez has a 1.98 ERA and 1.05 WHIP in his last 7 starts:

    5.2 IP, 1 ER
    5.2 IP, 2 ER
    5.0 IP, 1 ER
    6.0 IP, 0 ER
    6.0 IP, 3 ER
    5.0 IP, 2 ER
    7.2 IP, 0 ER

    Totals: 41.0 IP, 9 ER, 34 H, 37 K, 9 BB, 3 HR

J.D. Martinez (.328) and Xander Bogaerts (.326) rank 1st and 2nd in the AL in batting average.

Rafael Devers leads the majors in XBH (31) and ranks 2nd in RBI (43).

Martinez (.986, 2nd), Devers (.961, 3rd), and Bogaerts (.952, 5th) each rank in the top 5 in the AL in OPS.
