Has anyone played in this stadium yet?

I'm looking for a 'home' stadium and can't seeem to find one I like.

Wanted to use Fenway, but heard go much negativity about MLB stadiums and lag.

Tried some of the Minor League stadiums, but the ones I've tried are 'so-so'.

Dont want to form out 7-10K for a stadium and not like it.

Forbes is terrible imo because of the ridiculous dimensions. My two favourites are Shippett and Date Palm and Idk why but I like playing at 1 pm the most.

I like Oak street. Very hitter friendly park so be prepared to give up the early/okay HR.

Forbes Field can be a very advantageous park, but it can also be considered a cheese factory. In MLBTS18 I used this park a lot because the game was dominated by high power/low vision slow power hitters. This year most people will have fast outfielders, so the advantage is not really there. Furthermore, if you do play there, play only at night. During certain times of day at specific months the angle of the sun makes it impossible to see the ball coming out of a right handed pitcher's hand...you run the risk of someone thinking you are cheesing without you actually knowing what is going on.

I like Green Valley, Majestic Greens, and Water Ridge. Water Ridge has a spacious outfield without the Forbes cheese factor. The Porch is also pretty nice. My least favorite park is All American. If you are looking for a nice classic park to play in, Sportsman's Park is a nice place to call home.

FYI, I visited the University of Pittsburgh last week with my son. One of their class buildings was built on the site of Forbes Field. They kept home plate in its original location and it's displayed under glass, pretty cool.

What hitting view do you use? I’ve always used just strike zone, playing at night and never had any issues there even if the game is during the day.

I love the park for the large gaps and for the elevation so the ball flies more often than not

I've used Date Palm as my home stadium since 16.
