I'm only seven 42 players away from Jackie. I'm looking forward to using him. Who on here has him and what is the verdict??

I have him and I like him. Especially at max parallel this will be the best Jackie we've ever seen and probably ever will see in MLB The Show.

My best hitter. He hits .285 for me I think. Which is really good for me

He’s a stud. Truly a 5 star player. Does everything well & hits for much more power than his attributes reveal.

I’m normally despise Jackie but I’ve only used him in BR so far and it seems like he’s got more pop this year. I’m only 8 cards away myself. That was my initial reason as to why I didn’t rush to get him.
But now that Soriano kinda sucks (vs righties anyway), I’m kinda wanting to give Jackie a shot

I'm a huge jackie advocate. The fielding is unreal, you have to get a lot of the ball to get it by him on the ground. With the bat, people seem to pitch right at him if there's nobody on; I think they don't realize how much pop he has. I've got him at parallel 3 right now and he hits bombs.

I can't hit with him. Have had him for over a month and can't seem to get much going with him. So I moved Tatis (I do really well with this card) to 2B and have the Mets TA2 at SS to try out.
Want to get story but giving this Mets TA2 card a try first before dropping 225K

Really want to get Jackie, but I'm still not willing to spend 250K (at least) on the five 42 legends I need to complete the collection since I doubt I'd ever use any of them.
Hoping they add 42 packs to innings programs and/or conquest in the very near future.

im 4 cards away but missing dudes like Ripken and Mays who are just so many stubs, trying to be patient and hope they drop in price

Got him last night after ripping off 7 straight wins in the event to get to 15wins (and my last 42 player).
Tried him in Ranked (took out Trea Turner who was playing 2B) and he went 0-fer. Then again so did most of my team because hitting results on AS ranked are completely random and messed up. Totally predictable opponent and the game just was not giving me anything on my swings.
Verdicts still out but I'm hitting like .330 with Trea Turner and I want to love and use Jackie but I'm still of the mind that he's always one of the most overrated cards in the game despite looking amazing on paper.
At least I can use him to redeem Mo eventually.

Yes, but I'm only playing offline. At 50 years old I just don't have the reflexes needed to keep up.
Even if I gave it a shot, the heat death of the universe would occur before I could get 15 wins, let alone whatever is needed for the 2nd pack.

He seems pretty expensive for what he usually is. I’ve had some people hit HRs on me with him though. Parallel 5 he get like 89 power and 99 speed. That usually plays. Even with this event he’s like 350k if you got the free non sellable one. However if you’re going for Rivera it does bring up an interesting dilemma. 180k for a set of players you will probably never use or 350k for 99 jackie and some diamonds that are getting outpaced quickly.
