You’re wrong. I hadn’t played baseball since high school and joined an adult league at age 27. I had to relearn just about everything. Fielding came back relatively quickly.. hitting is a whole different story. If you haven’t even seen high school pitching, I doubt you even touch a single pitch. Have you even used a wood bat?
Watch the video, it doesn't look too fast, if I get 20 ABs I can just sit fastball and take a swing in the zone, that's probably 100 pitches so statistically I should connect with one and find a hole I feel like.
I mean how many no hitters have already been thrown this year? That’s 27 batters minimum. All major league starters. And I highly doubt you make anywhere near 100 pitches anyway. Youd ground out and pop out very often keeping the pitch count very low.
And by the slight off chance a ball does drop into play somewhere I’m going with pure luck not the skill and athleticism you’re attempting to give yourself.

The number 4 prospect in baseball, since call up, can't even much get it going. You think you could hold your own? Think again. I think Kelenic has been looking good. Solid contact and deep at bats, not many K’s. Just remember how long it took Vladdy to get going...

So I stumbled across this YouTube video of MLB pitches from a batter's POV and it made me realize, "This doesn't look that hard to hit." The pitches don't seem that fast, I think I could hit these.
I haven't played baseball since middle school, but I'm a young adult in pretty good physical condition. I believe I'm getting a hit in 20 ABs versus an average MLB pitcher and defense. I said this in a group chat and basically got flamed, but I'm pretty sure I'm right here.

Here’s the thing, it does even have to be most, because we know that POs DO exist and that this is the worst pitcher ever, which means that some players who only pitched from high school on (same scenario as me), still outhit the worst pitcher ever. Keep proving my point.

confused as in your definition of hit the ball, as in I made contact and hit it, or I got a hit. sure if you have your bat propped in the middle and pay the pticher to throw at it yeah youll hit it. otherwise if youre swinging based on your middle school self and a youtube video, can I makee a bet on you not contacting the ball going 92 plus. How about going to find some real evidence other than you saying you can hit 95mph and then come back and actually try to prove us wrong, instead of all the false stuff. I like the confidence though.

Bro... It’s a lot harder than you think haha. I don’t think you’d get a hit in 20 ABs against a Single A pitcher. Unless you played high level baseball into your 20s, you aren’t touching a thing without a ton of training and practice.
The worst hitting pitcher ever had about a .045 OBP in the MLB. Most pitcher only players still take BP and stuff so that’s not surprising, but that goes out the window since this is the worst hitting pitcher ever, in all likelihood, I can hit better than the worst hitting pitcher ever, and being an 18 yo male with a decent build, I think I could.
With practice you could probably "hit the ball" if they are just throwing you strikes all day like practice.
Getting a hit in a MLB game today? no You would need years of training to get a good hit on a consistent basis.
