I usually go by 250-1000 at least in an attempt to either get rid or acquire a card much quicker.
Otherwise, you're gonna just be nickel and diming with other people going back and forth even in increments of 5 just wasting your time. LOL
It's not really wasting your time if you do it right. Put in your buy/sell orders and go play a game or 2. Most if not all should be done. Even with +/- 1 increments.

EXACTLY! I am much more frustrated by those who undercut me by 1000 than by 1. It is like, "dude, you are losing me money!" lol.
those people think that helps the card being sold faster when their card is gonna sell anyway. may not be 30 seconds but give it 3 to 5 minutes and you're good to go. Worst thing to see is when a good margin on a card gets blown to [censored] bc two guys are going back and forth undercutting each other by 500 stubs
SO many cards that I flip daily get fked in this manner. I get giddy when I see 700-1K margins on cards that move with volume only to come back 10 mins later and see 25, 50, 120, and 150 stub variance in just 4 orders lol

I just buy the idiot undercutting by 250 and sell it on top of my other one for 1 stub less. Free stubs for me lolol

If a card "tanks" in value, it was artificially high in the first place. The market will correct itself.

Before I completed the collection I had been using pirates bronzes as flips. Selling between 140-170 and buying for 25-30....until some moron came in and bought a ton of them and listed them all for no reason around 110.
Totally ruined it for anyone else.

They’re not. It’s probably multiple people and if you’re noticing it you’re probably just watching too closely. Just throw them up and go play a couple of games. They’ll all sell eventually.
I’ll give a story about how the marketplace works. I have tons of fodder in my inventory. Like 30k commons. I usually only lost a couple at a time as I don’t want to tank the market on myself. The other day I took a common free agent(nobody wants that right)and he had a few at 30-40 and a few higher etc. I listed 82 of him at 55 stubs. Within a day every single one of them sold. Obviously the people before me had to sell and I’m sure it got undercut plenty of times. Just set it and forget it.

I recognized and corrected my mistake of obsessively waiting/watching prices fluctuate around my bid. It added a level of stress that wasn't even a necessary component of making a transaction.
