Today’s daily moment
-
On any HR or 8 total base moment I switch to directional and hold up and in. Hit power when ball comes in middle or higher. This has been a godsend for me at least.
-
I think I got 1,500 XP on my attempts. I ended up just setting the PCI as low as it could go and just waiting for a low pitch.
-
Took me about 15 mins. Got 7 bases more than once. And by the time I did it I went 5-6
-
Get 8 bases in a game with breakout JD Martinez. I got it on the 5th try. Move the PCI around a little bit, then move keep it up and inside. Follow the ball where it goes.
-
This took a lot of us longer than it should've. I got to the Henchmen and the 1st Evo with all the XP from all the tries. This is JD Martinez?
-
This has been the worst one since the game dropped. I is mad.
I just wanna play against the cpu on Rookie. I was like, “let me take care of this daily moment real quick…”
Sigh… 2 hours later… Nope. I jinxed myself. “Real quick…” (face slap)
-
Low vision combined with JD being a "balanced" hitter narrows the swing timing window down to perfect perfects in order for quality contact. On rookie, you really have to wait on pitches with him. Anything at all early, even just slightly results in poor contact.
-
Whoever designed this moment has a sick sense of humor and gets pleasure by inflicting anguish in others.
-
3rd attempt. Directional is key
I can totally see the Jurias windup adding to rage factors

The worst one yet? The moment with 85 overall Roberto Clemente where you have to hit a home run in a deep park like an inside the parker. That moment wants you to hold its beer

They 1000% suped up Urias on this one. It’s hilariously obvious. No chance I’m late on a 94 MPH FASTBALL on rookie. I’m early on legend constantly. Lol this may be the first time I’ve actually believe SDS tampers with sliders on different settings. Shame.
-
I got it done. But it shouldn’t have taken 25 tries. Lol
-
I restart after the first AB if no bases so I am not counting attempts exactly, but yeah, this is one of the crazy ones. Agree with others above about timing windows for quality contact as well as Urias being souped. He's painting with a sneaky-quick FB one minute and spraying slow curves all over the shop the next. The only HRs I've managed to hit were change-ups and I'm getting precious few of those. 7 TBs was my best effort so far Definitely will be happy to have this one in the rearview.
Also... there's no help from the team. I've had only 3 ABs a few times.

I found I needed to be early, rather than perfect. This one took me more times than I would like, but I ended up aiming for getting under it, and early.

Jake Odorizzi is clearly allergic to the strike zone. Amazing he's been in MLB for so long with such an affliction.
(Garbage game design)

I would really love to know how you can get so many perfect perfect fly outs with someone who has 120 power. 2 days now I’ve been trying this stupid JD Martinez moment.
