Postgame Etiquette

What are you guys doing to each other?
I occasionally message opponents, after a win or loss, and they are almost always bracing for the troll or ready to fire back. A few rare instances have ended with someone going crazy in my PMs, but that's not typical. In my experience, most players are pretty chill and accommodating, but are griefers and trolls really that common in The Show?

I look at the hitting analysis and box score then move on.

I sometimes message them when it was a good game. I've even messaged one that I thought they were the better player and should of won if not for an error. I have never received a reply though.

Someone yelled, "STOP BUYING STUBS," so I taught him to work the market lol.

I don't ever message someone unless messaged first. I've had my share of trolls, but a surprising amount of chill people to.

I also had to learn to work the market because I refuse to buy game currency for any game. I have actually managed to use it well. After watching videos of guys like Gomes. I finally decided I wanted Mays and only need Betts now.

I’d say there’s a 67% chance that when someone messages you or you message them, they’ll be cool. I’ve only had 3 dudes message me and 2 were really cool and gave me decent tips (as, yes, I embarrass myself constantly online), and the 3rd clowned on me pretty hard, calling me a lot of negative names. I simply thanked him for his opinion and congratulated him on his easy win, to which I still got a very negative reply.
No worries. All I can do is kill em with kindness and try and get better. I’ve messaged others “Good Game,” but have never gotten a response, as well. -

I almost always send a GG for a close game that I lose. I will do it on a win as well at times or if I get destroyed. Most of the time everyone is cool.
Though, a couple times after a game I won I was told that I wasn’t good and rng and comeback logic and what not. I responded that I was simply telling the person that they played well. The response is usually a sorry that they were frustrated.
-
I usually find their house and stalk them.
-
Docking is a fun way to GG.

Why? If some guy beats me, then I think I have every right to follow him to work, wait in his office lobby while pretending to read a newspaper, then later that night I’ll watch quietly from outside his bedroom window as he makes tender love to my sister (plot twist).
-
Whenever I lose, I call them a center swinging hr crackhead and tell em to learn to aim n earn

I turned my PS messenger off because i got tired of randos sending me messages like "thanks for the batting practice" and "oh you shouldnt have been spamming pitches to me loser. CUBS SUCK!"
i'm in my 30s. i'm too old for that nonsense. if i wanted children to scream at me, i'd just hang out with my kids
-
When I win i apologize for winning via RNG and comeback logic and random input. If i lose I praise how great they are.
Hmmm or is it the other way around. I guess it doesn’t matter both are equally absurd

I have messages blocked, which cuts down on most of this [censored], I did have a guy send me a friend request which had his message of hate in it, it was really obnoxious. It's why I really don't enjoy playing online games, I hate internet tough guys.
-
I generally say good game with a friend request. Turned off messages from non-friends and game became more enjoyable.
