    In ranked Seasons?
    In Online Ranked (not DD)?
In friendly online matches against a friend?

If I have my local difficultly on dynamic, and my opponent has his local difficulty set to rookie, which level of difficultly are we playing on?
    And how can you tell?

In ranked seasons it is based on your division. I forget the transition points, but you start at veteran in spring training, and progress to all-star, then HOF, and then legend. Legend I think is after you reach World Series.

They did also mention in the pre-release stream that the difficulty is now based on the player in the higher division. In the past, players would constantly bounce back and forth between all-star and HOF when they were near that transition point if they matched up with a lower rated opponent, and those two difficulties have different pitch speeds. Now once you reach that threshold you can keep the faster pitch speeds and adjust as long as you stay at that division or higher.

Ranked Seasons is decided by the person with the highest difficulty. So if you are on All Star and they are on HoF then you would play on HoF.

Online Ranked no idea. never played this mode.

Friendly matches you choose the difficulty before hand when setting up the game. You can pick how many innings. what kind of strikezone the ump calls, difficulty, ect.

One of the easiest ways to tell what level you are playing on is by using you batters PCI. If the middle of the PCI extends exactly to the center of the strikezone edge when you move it directly up or down or directly left or right then you are playing on veteran. If the middle goes slightly past the strikezone edge (outside) then you are on All Star. If it goes not quite all the way to the strike zone edge and extends just inside the strikezone then you are on rookie.

online rated difficulty is based on the settings when queueing up a match. Pitching difficulty, hitting difficulty, quick counts on/off and guess pitch on/off.
