BEST TEAM COLLECTION?
-
The teams with the most diamonds have the best rewards. Nolan Ryan for the Trashtros and Gary Carter for LA both look pretty good.
-
Budget wise probably the Twins. Torii Hunter is a pretty good reward for a team without any diamonds
-
I've only done one collection thus far, but have nothing but good things to say about Evan Longoria for TB.
-
I'd lean towards the Dodgers. 92 piazza cam flat out mash and has decent D until you get to pick posey

TrashStros, I love it!! lol

What about the NATS? You get Sherzer, Strasburg and the Vlad card as the reward? I haven't seen the VLAD stats though.
-
The A’s are cheap to do with a usable Matt Chapman being the only diamond (and 83 Matt Olsen rakes) and you get 88 Doolittle who is a good lefty reliever

I too feel this is probably the best bang for the buck. A good lefty reliever is hard to find and this Doolittle will probably be on most trams deep into the season.
Torii Hunter gets an honorable mention as he is "decent" but the team doesn't have a single diamond you have to collect (all other non diamond team rewards are pretty booty)

I completed the NL East Collection, and in order of best to worst
- Vlad Guerrero - This card just rakes. It's probably one of the best collection cards
- John Olerud - Great card, but speed may make you think twice
- Mike Schmidt - Destroys lefties, and a defensive anchor
- Ryan Klesko - Slays Righties, but embarassing defense
t5. Al Leiter - It's the Marlins collection, what did you expect
t5. Robin Roberts - The curse of being a dominant contact pitcher.

I used the Vlad Sr. in BR and he crushed the ball for me.
