Changeups!!!

I am sorry but I have never seem a MLB game in my life where so many changeups are throw like they are in this game.
I can't even count how many times a pitcher has started the game with a first pitch change up! I don't think I have ever seen that in an MLB game.
What the hell is up with change ups this year?

this is what happens when people complain about hitting, fastballs went from relevant in '19 to the most useless pitch in your pitchers arsenal, and it's not like the fastball is the primary pitch for most pitchers in this game.
this whole game just feels like SDS is trolling us.

Just an observation. And just to clarify, I don't play online. So if this is supposed to be a sim, then there is no way that the CPU should be throwing 40% + changeups.

I'm pretty sure there are algorithms in place that pick up on your hitting tendencies. So if you swing too early on changeups consistently, the algorithms pick up on this and translate it to throwing more of those your way. Look at it from the bright side; apparantly you could use some practice on hitting changeups. The game is just helping you do that :).

The first pitch I always throw is offspeed out of the zone, I want to know if the player I’m playing will chase anything. Nothing worse than throwing a fastball that gets smashed only to find out next batter that the guy will swing at anything you throw
