Intentional walking, using the rosters of 99 pitcher vs 0 stat players spamming X to get strike outs, all still work for grinding xp, yes it will take twice as long, but you can pull up netflix, watch a movie, and get 30k xp without even looking at the game. The just made it slower, didn't take any of the brokenness away.
I wish they could ban boosters like you.,
I believe they did in 20, maybe even in 19. -
Player program 1-35k XP
Conquest 1-15k XP
Showdown- 35k XP
Player program 2- 35k XP
Conquest 2- 15k XP
Offline daily missions for 20 days- 40k XPTotal so far 175k. Halfway there.
The average conquest game is 1.5k XP. If you don't get that you played a bad game. There are roughly 6 strongholds and a steal fans per conquest map. 1.5k x 7 x 2 conquest maps. 21k while doing your conquest maps.
Total 196k
I don't do play vs CPU games but we will say 6k XP is the minimum for those? 208k after the two CPU games for the player program. We will say 300xp per showdown mission for argument sake X10 missions 3000. Every failed moment/ showdown etc. gets you more XP. If you can't get 150k XP through gameplay in the course of a month on top of the XP boosts you were simply not meant to get the boss -

2-3k? For a ranked game? I think it’s closer to 6-9k depending on how well you do. I get around 3-4K per conquest game. Also if I pitch in rtts, just those pitched innings and stats get about 3500k
Sorry we are all not as good as you, i typically only get about 2-3 k per cpu 9 inning game.

And 6k is certainly not the minimum vs cpu. I did a 19-1 win and got 5.8k.
Many of you greatly inflate the amounts of do you get from playing...or the other issue is XP is counting different for everyone.

I do think the "missing XP" gets counted eventually. I've had it twice this inning where I gained A small amount of XP scrolling through the menus, likely what I might have been missing from previous games. And no one is inflating the amounts of XP they are getting. Every pitch you take gets you XP. you trouncing the CPU on rookie swinging at every pitch is not going to get you as much as an 8-1 win on allstar where a player may have taken a walk or two and actually got into 2-2, 3-2 counts
-
Yes, taking pitches is the key to racking up xp vs. CPU.

1 big inning can get you 1k in XP.
1 big inning. LOL. I get excited scoring 1 run on HOF. Simply can't react or recognize pitches. I have hit so many balls in the PCI for no hits it is laughable. I honestly think I have 3 HR's in my last 10 RS games and they were Dejong, Lofton and Felix Hernandez. Oh, I think Trout may have 1 or 2. Feels like the rest of my lineup has 30 power. I have to hit it perfect to get a HR. 1/100th of a millimeter off perfect nets me a routine fly ball almost every time.
Just another MLB game where I don't feel rewarded. I'll tank and go back down to 400 again just like last year so I can actually enjoy the game. Use different cards and such.
If you are trying to grid out xp against the cpu, why use HOF level?
Put it on rookie and bank XP. -

Just did a conquest game and won 4-0. That got me 1254xp, if you only played conquest it would take 518 three inning games to finish everything with no dropped games.
Sure if that's the ONLY way you could earn XP. But it's not as I posted earlier. Your 518 games completely ignores collections, showdown, conquests, player programs, & daily missions.
Just giving numbers, it’s about 130 hours of gameplay to finish without any of the other ways. I haven’t been able to finish a game all night so those numbers might be a little low.
if you haven't been able to finish a game all night then it's most likely on your end. Other than the unscheduled "maintenance" to finally turn off 2x XP I have had 0 issues with the servers and I'm not even hard wired.
But again if you are going to "just give numbers" you should provide an accurate accounting which would include all the other ways you can earn XP. If it was only earned from ranked games then I'd be 100% behind you. But that's not the case so it's just misleading at best and whining at worst.
Insulting me doesn’t take away from the actual issue at hand, the current, right now problem. The servers are still not fixed so people get maybe 60-70% of base xp, not even the minimum they should. There’s no reason to take away 2x until they can resolve their ongoing issues.
Wow you really are soft. me saying it's "whining at worst" is insulting? You may not want to peruse online forums if that's the case.
I’m as soft as your moms [censored], ignoring the actual issue and keep trolling.
Ok so you're 12. I'm sorry I called you soft. I know today's youth needs to be coddled and kept safe. So my sincere apologies.
He seems more mature than you, to be honest.

It's more the servers being down at times I can play like right now that will make it difficult to achieve.

If you can reach that level in RS then you should be able to beat the CPU on all star. From you saying you have to play on rookie it sounded like you were someone who wouldn't play onlineOnly reason I ever reach AS is pitching. I can’t hit to save my life.
And I can beat the CPU on all star. It will just be like 5-1 and in the end better to win 15-1 on rookie xp wise.
Switch to pure analog hitting, no pci at all. Just wait on good pitches and swing at the right time. Once you get comfortable with that, add back in zone interface with pci... enjoy.

And I mean just getting to the boss packs.
Doing a bit of a breakdown, last year you essentially got 3 program stars per 9 inning game. This year if you play a ranked season game maybe you’ll get 2k-3k or so xp a game. That translates to a much slower progression to 350k xp than the old method.
Add to it that showdown only gets you 35k which I believe is significantly less than showdown gave last year stars wise and I really think that casual players are likely to be locked out of getting to the bosses, which is very unfortunate.
I don't think so because a lot of people like myself were never actually receiving the double XP that was shown postgame.
However if they didn't drop those very generous extra collections and missions, perhaps. I was able to get the full 650k but then again I grinded out RTTS for tons of XP.

Theres more than enough ways to get to max XP by end of the program. I did it easily last time and I don't play obsessively

People will struggle guaranteed. If you play offline, 3.5k per game, you have 30 days, you’d have to play at least 3 games a night and all weekend. And that’s just to get to 350 boss. It’s not gonna happen. This years xp is absolute trash. People have lives and things to do. Not everyone cheats and plays 2 systems on play now or whatever the he// it is. I just don’t see this working and it sucks.
I just don’t see this complaint. I got to 650 easily last inning and just got the henchman in this one. Chipping at it with dailies, doing the missions , conquest maps, showdown etc is more than enough for even the casual ( time wise) players to get there. Not to mention they will likely do another double xp weekend and likely doa possible second not the last weekend before the 3rd inning. Last inning you could have strictly down the collections and conquest/showdown alone and likely gotten to 350. The inning path is not made to get to 650, everything after 350 is “bonus” for grinders.
-
I’m at 100k and apart from Friday evening, I didn’t play that much compared to most folks (married with kid and spent Mother’s Day away from the game and except for an hour before dinner). The bosses are easily reachable, the 2nd is longer than the first by 10 days. Not everyone can reach 650k, but as long as you reach 350k, mission accomplished; the rest is gravy.
-
They still haven’t added any big chunks of XP with player programs/moments/showdown/ and additional conquest maps. If anyone plays an honest amount even just grinding at night they will get through the inning program.

I think I am at 127k XP as of last night, I play CQ, Moments, Showdown, RS, A few games vs CPU, I beat the Tigers on Legends last night 4-1 and got over 6k XP. I do not worry about the XP it will add up. Play vs CPU you still get a CARD at the end of the game. I wanted to see if it would give me a gold or a diamond player. I got stuck with a 66 Bronze, it that was fine because I still got the XP. RTTS as a position player the XP adds up fast and those games take 10min or less. Only time you need to boost in Franchise is the last fews days when you are close to getting to 350 or 650 and you are that person the does not have the time to play every day. You know you do not have the time and you take a day to boost. Boosting in Franchise is boring and time consuming take away from completing other things in the game.I play 3 to 4 hours a night. I am married (Wife works nights) I have 3 kids they come first with Homework and other things. The weekends sometimes I can play all weekend, I do have a full time job, Drive time to and from work is over 2 hours a day. I also Coach my sons baseball team. I find time and use in wisely and accomplish what I want in the game. I try to get to the 650 for the LS diamond as I am still doing the LS collection. The Bosses are cheap on the market. I love pitching in this game and the Fernando card is awesome to use. I do not see me having a problem getting to 650k alot better then the 900 from last year in some of the inning programs. -
My complaint and I already sent in a bug report, I hit 40 wins last night I should have gotten one of the WS cards. I could have sold it for 55,000 stubs last night, My RS record shows 40-36 but when I go to the Rewards by pressing square it says I have 38 wins in the reward path. i will try and win another game tonight to see if I am just stuck at 38 or the game just did not calculate my wins correctly.
-
EVERY mode gives XP for 2cd inning. Just play as much as you can and you will easily get there.
I have a goal to unlock and max out every archetype in RTTS, working on just this will get me to 650K, easily.
Just get off the forums and play as much as you can. Any mode. -

You lost 2 games to the server issues. It shows 40 but the game has you for 38. If you win 2 more games without server errors you will get that reward. So many of these issues it is highly unlikely SDS does anything plus they already gave out compensation. Just win 2 games and get your rewards.
