Game Stuck on Loading Screen before Game

I've made the World Series. Played every single game up till this point in RTTS.
Now I click to play the first game. Athletics Vs Yankees.
It comes up with the line-up screen (showing friendship boosts). I can R1 and L1 through some other screens like the starting pitchers and playoff tables etc.But other than that the game just sits there. The icon in the bottom right still goes through it's various animations. PS4 has not locked up. I can quit the game and play something else without needing to reset
Just in case it was a server thing I've tried many times yesterday and today. Quit multiple times, re-started multiple times.
I've waited this time for over an hour with it stuck on this screen.I mean man. Played a full season to get to this point.
Anyone else have this issue? Anyone know how to fix it? -
Bump, I have the exact same problem going on right now. Again in WS game 1, going to try to skip it see if I can at least progress past the first game.

Be sure to report the bug to SDS so they know how high priority this is.
