Is hitting TOO easy?

I think hitting is fine. They need to tune pitching bc there are way too many meatballs being hung over the middle of the plate. Pitchers miss but not down the middle every time.

I agree with this for sure. Even a good almost perfect pitch release gets hung over the middle of the plate. I can’t even throw a change up without real fear of it hanging [censored] high

I think the ability to make contact is too easy, not hitting itself. Should never be able to foul so of the pitches with the incredibly terrible timing just because they slammed the stick in the direction of the ball and swing fastball all day
I agree unfortunately this has always been a problem in the game. I think it’s there to protect people who aren’t very good for giving up and getting frustrated with the game. Almost wish there was some kind of hardcore mode where PCI are shrunken and you only make contact if the ball is in the PCI.

Yes this exactly, problem is pci is vision and not bat. Shrink it and make it bat so skill can be rewarded at higher levels. And then that makes awesome pitching rewarded as well it would become a win win. Just wish they would beta it in a game mode...

Yes hitting is way too easy. Can’t blame it on pitching at all. I’m seeing stuff thrown on the outside corner pulled on “perfect perfect” Hit. It’s a shame.

You don’t think the pitch speed has something to do with that? I mean, there are some really good players in the community.

I wish I could say I could relate personally. I've pretty much sucked at the plate and then I lose on homers when my pitch misses its spot by a foot towards the middle of the zone.

100% pitch speeds. And IMO the PCI might be a little bit too big, even on the higher difficulties.
