In all my years of playing of playing DD, I don’t think I’ve ever seen such demand for a card. There are currently 700+ (self included) on the waiting list to pay max amount for this common card... But it’s the last I need to complete the Cubs.
FYI, check your common cards. If they’re newly created they’re going for 700-1000 stubs in the market.

It’s because sell now is broken. People are hitting it and it is quick selling instead. It’s stealing stubs from people and causing people issues with completion of collections.

Partially but the cap has more to do with it. In years past a lot of these cards would be going for 4-5k for a couple days and slowly drop down to 2-3k for a while. Then End up settling where ever it would end up at. But with the cap at 1k now everybody is willing to pay it so the orders just keep piling up.

I do remember the ridiculously high prices of new cards. Made for tough decisions. Do I finish a team collection but burn 4K or do I roll the dice that no new players will be added next update... I usually am too inpatient

The first thing I did after the roster update was put in a buy order for all the newly added cards, and every single one of them has gone through except for the elusive trevor megill. I've never heard of this guy before but I bet he's awesome at hide and seek lol

I've never played this game late enough into the year where I actually had to experience that, but I've read the horror stories.
The funny thing is, I put in a buy order for this card even though I actually completed the cubs collection last week. I'm just that big of an obsessive completionist lol
