If you try to play a game without quick pitching see if R2 is still a problem? But i agree if you quick pitch i'm holding R2 all day long. Then i'm going to take my sweet @ss time when i'm pitching.
Why does this not surprise me about you. What do you need to do, go through mental computations before the pitch?
If i wanted lip from you i would scrape it off my zipper! Where do you buy your face paint for your clown costume?
That is the worst chirp of all time. Absolutely brutal. Nothing personal, just saying...
I don’t understand the hate with pitching fast. It’s not like you have to step out of the box, readjust your jock, reattach your gloves. What’s the deal?
They seem to think thats why they suck. Like if we take a extra 3 seconds to pitch they'll all of a sudden have hand eye coordination

You guys that are holding R2 the entire time your opponent is trying to pitch are really a special kind of bad person.
Maybe learn how to win a game without cheating? You might find it actually feels good.
I hold it every time and will continue to do so. I am not going to let you quick pitch me. If you want to get rid of holding R2, I would be perfectly fine with a 5 sec timer in between pitches. Until that happens, you should try and understand why people do it.
Hi Sean, hope you're having a great weekend.
I absolutely pitch quickly, I don't need to stare at my screen with bifocals to accurately use the input system of my choice. I also don't want to take an hour playing a RS game. I have many other things I have to do with my life, and while I'm sure Sean 87 is a great guy, I'm not interested in being stuck with you longer than I have to.
Stop holding down L2, you don't suddenly increase PCI placement accuracy by waiting between pitches.
You will not be quick pitching against me, that’s for sure. People have different preferences. If you don’t want a timer in between pitches, then R2 is the best way to make both sides happy.
But when I step off because you hold R2 you do not need to hold R2 after I step off the mound. Not saying you do this but people who hold R2 do it even after I step off every time. Then you got people who start doing it after they are losing or because they can not hit, R2 does not help people hit any better and either does fake bunting pushing Triangle and letting go repeating that until the pitch is thrown, It is all annoying.
-
Honestly don't mind R2ers all that much when I'm pitching. Bunt dancers are way worse.

If you are doing it from first pitch then you are a child, the end. This guy is an absolute loser lol
I always find it amusing the way people talk differently than face to face.
Dude I will call you a loser to your face lol. You act like im trying to fight you or something smh. what you do is scummy. plain and simple.
Really, I travel a lot, where do you live? We can meet up and have a conversation to find out.
Come to NYC. I will call you a loser to your face over and over mr. tough guy lol. [censored] clown
Ok pm your phone number and we can link up.
This Sean, this is why you aren't invited to parties.
Begging for phone numbers won't suddenly give you a social life, people have to like you first
let him do his thing Lucas. Clowns need a platform to showcase what they do best. Let him act like mr tough guy asking for peoples phone numbers sop he can go fight them. This is beyond hilarious to me LMAOOO
It's always single dudes stuck at home on a Saturday night. If my wife and son weren't still at work, I would have been off of here a long time ago. LOL, they give themselves away
its hilarious. bet hes been holding down R2 the whole time. Needs that extra time to type his responses lol
Can't swipe right if you're placing PCI's. I get it.
Not a problem for me, I use directional. I’m in to men by the way, that’s why I don’t have a wife and kids.
Why you need to Hold R2 if you use directional not like you need to move the PCI.

For years I have lobbied for removal of the R2 feature, or at the very least, allow us to step off the rubber every time R2 is pressed. But......to no avail. I hope all R2 users jock straps become infested with South American Fire Ants!!!!
I have never had an issue stepping of the rubber when someone holds R2. As soon as I see that symbol in this years game of R2 being held I step off. Then my opponent will pause if they can not hold R2. I think SDS need to change how long R2 can be held.

5 second timer between pitches seems a bit excessive. Also not everyone wants to sit there and take over an hour for a game so try to understand why people try not to take long between pitches? You can't ask people to try and understand your side without extending the same courtesy
Then live with R2 holding. I’m not going to let someone throw 10 pitches in 3 seconds like it’s a machine gun. If you don’t want a timer, R2 is the best way to make both sides happy.
How does holding down R2 / RT (on xbox) keep them from fast pitching? I don't get it....
They can't go into windup as fast. Quick pitching is the problem not R2 majority of players that R2 Is b/c quick pitching is the cheating method R2 is the preventer. People are trying to flip it around and blame R2. It's simple if they don't quick pitch i don't hold R2.
The counter to R2 is stepping off the mound every time

But not do anything toward how fast someone can pitch? Just curious, you know that is the other sides arguement so why not address both? See why people keep arguing? You change one you should change other, if everybody wants it fair then by god make it fair across the board.

Do you want the pitcher to balks back in the game and have it where pitchers have to come set with runners on base. If no runners are on base, pitcher can pitch when ready. If you are not ready as a hitter then that is on you. No need to hold it every pitch to be ready to hit. A second or two I understand but for 10 seconds every pitch is crazy, Once I select my pitch and set my location, I am pitching. That takes a second to do. A hitter should be ready. If someone is spamming FB then I sit in that location. Sooner or Later the ball is flying over the fence. This year I been able to hit the High FB. I been hitting better this year then the past few years. It is still not great but I am winning more than I am losing. I think I am 32-24 in RS.

I have been quick pitched and I do not mind it but if I need to slow my opponents pitching down, No need to hold R2 the whole time. Do it for a second or two and not for 10 seconds every pitch in every at bat. I use meter so people who hold R2 thinking it will mess with my timing well it doesnt. Most of the time they are still not ready to hit cause once they release R2 my pitch is being pitched as they release. It is annoying and somewhat of an advantage for me.

Does someone really need to Hold R2 for 10 seconds? limit the time on R2 and hold it before pitch is selected. Now pitcher still can not QP, but user hitting can not hold R2 for 10 seconds just cut down the time R2 can be held.

I second or two ok but for 10 seconds every pitch is crazy, Once I select my pitch and set my location I am pitching.
I don't agree with spamming R2 just to do it make sure i'm clear about that.
But if someone is quick pitching that is also an exploit whether people want to belive it or not.
My point is if the arguement is get rid of R2 then there is also a valid arguement to get rid of quick pitching.I think R2 is a good tool to see how opponent pitched you in previous at bats that is what I use it for. I think SDS should change how long someone can hold R2. They should not be able to hold R2 once I select my Pitch.
If you are not quick pitching i agree.
Ok i get it, but the arguement is R2 bothers some people and quick pitching bothers some people. You can't change R2 and then not something regarding quick pitch. That's all i'm saying.
Take your example, if they changed R2 but didn't touch quick pitch how is that fair in the overall scheme?
Does someone really need to Hold R2 for 10 seconds? limit the time on R2 and hold it before pitch is selected. Now pitcher still can not QP, but user hitting can not hold R2 for 10 seconds just cut down the time R2 can be held.
Does someone really need to pitch b4 batter has a chance to check scenarios of the at bat? Same freaking arguement but nobody wants to acknowlege the part that leads to person spamming R2 in the first place.
this isnt always true though. some people hold R2 from the very first pitch before their opponent even has the chance to quick pitch them, like that one dude that commented earlier. theres a lot more people like him than you think

You can’t hold R2 for ten seconds. It’s more like 3-4 seconds, I would know because I hold it the entire time for every at bat.

I do not need to. You keep holding R2 and I will keep stepping off the mound. Every time I see that sign of someone holding R2 I will step off and then you will pause every pitch and run out of time and I will win the game. I also have no need to spam pitches but I am not waiting for you to be ready to hit. When I am ready to pitch the pitch is coming. The pitcher always controls the tempo of the game.
