Joe Musgrove no hitter this month; currently silver going gold

Buy him while you can.
-
How do you know he goes gold? I agree he will be bumped up but he may not go gold. I can see him getting bumped to a 78.
-
Yes the guy that before this year had a 29-38 record with a 4+ ERA in 5 years in the majors is going gold because he had one magical game.

I'd say the fact that he's got an era of 1.24. a .66 whip, BAA of .137 and 41 Ks in 29 innings (5 QS with a CG shutout) may have something to do it. He's been pretty lights out so far this season.

Apparently everybody thinks all these cards are gonna jump way up. Could they? Sure. But I don’t remember it happening like that in the other years. Guess we see tomorrow.

You have to realize, attributes for players are based on 3 years, not 1 month. And rarely do players jump more than 1-2 overall.

They were spoiled by the knee [censored] reaction upgrades of last year

Its happened literally every year since DD began. Last season, there were a few silvers that ended up becoming diamonds (Luke Voit off the top of my head). The Live series is called the Live series for a reason....because their cards go up or down in status depending on their real life performance.

Dude last year was a one off. They never usually upgrade that big. They had to because of the shortened season

I’m talking in one update. Thanks for explaining how live series cards work though.
Again they could so we will see tomorrow. I’m good either way. Just would be crazy to see dudes go from silver to diamond and 20 go to golds and whatever else I’ve seen and read.

Last year was a one off? Do you even DD? Players go up and down all year, all the time. Seriously do you think that if a bronze or silver player were batting .340 with 30 homeruns at the break, SDS would just be like "Nah bro....we can only make you a 70 overall because its not a short season"

You just made my point there buddy. Aaron Judge, when he broke the rookie HR record finished as an 84OVR. 84!!! After breaking the record, he still didn’t get a diamond card. Willing to bet I’ve played this way more than you have and know exactly what I’m talking about.
There’s no doubt he gets a boost, just not that big right now. Hell, I don’t even think Vladdy is a lock for gold. He might but we’ll see

This guys talking about Musgroves win/loss like prime Felix Hernandez wasnt one of the best pitchers in the league lol

I bought 1000 commons of a player waiting for him to go diamond!
Sorry couldn't resist i've never been good at guessing who is gonna get an upgrade. I'm that guy who buys 30 copies of the guy who is hot then he gets hurt. Lol

He actually finished as an 88 and im assuming that because it was his rookie year, they didnt wanna get ahead of themselves. That was also 4 installments ago and a lot has changed since then.

I can admit when I'm wrong nice call on this @sportsguru_MLBTS Didn't think SDS would boost him 5 overall. guess they are continuing their ratings model from last year.
