Are the servers down... again?

Hi, anyone else can't connect to website? Mine is giving me "Error occured while connecting to MLB servers" or "Gateway timeout". Isn't it getting pretty ridiculous? Nearly every day they are doing maintenance, it has been nearly 14 days since early access and it's still working like ***. Will we at least get finally some statement from SDS? If I look on any media - News on theshow.com, Twitter, Facebook, they act as everything is nice and sunny.

Nice one again SDS started a 9 inning game on allstar for the 1st inning progam won the gama only to get the servers are down for maintenance again. A little heads up warning would be the least you can do.Get your sh$#%#$t together SDS.

And 24 hours later exactly the same situation. This is really a joke. I know, you want the servers to be down when US is sleeping, but we in Europe want functioning servers as well you know

I’m with you on this one. I know the majority of the player base are based in the us but a bit of rotation would be nice to save us getting shafted all the time.

Okay, now I am really angry. 3rd day in a row, I just can't do anything on the website, community market not working, and this lasts for nearly whole day here in Europe. And as soon as US wakes up and we in Europe go to sleep, it miraculously starts to work! You are actively discriminating non US players, good job SDS.

So wait. I own a restaurant. Should I close at 7 pm until 3 am every second Thursday so I don't discriminate against the one guy that might want food at 1:30 in the morning?
Be practical please. Majority of the players are US based, it's a US company, the employees doing the maintenance are in the US, server traffic is the least during these times, but SDS is actively discriminating against you?

I understand it from the practical side of things, but it is really anoying that I can't do any marketplace transactions because I am unfortunate that I live in different part of world than majority of players. Also I don't think your example with restaurant is accurate. 1) You are not bothered with time shifts and worldwide service 2) You don't offer your service 24 hours a day 7 days a week. You have stated exact opening hours when customers can come. So yes, I think if your opening hours were non stop and one guy would come every day at 1:30 and the restaurant would be closed every day (despite you saying its open nonstop), I think he would feel bad.
I don't want to argue, just trying to explain my point of view (and I think many people's from around the world that are not US)

I'm not arguing either. It's all good.
I don't think that any expectations for a future regularly scheduled maintenance will be during prime US hours for the sole benefit of non US players will occur. Yes, it sucks right now for everyone.

If maintenance is gonna be 2 hours per day, I do feel like it should be timed an hour earlier if it’s trying to accommodate the most number of players in the US. East Coast players do often try to play before work sometimes and early morning on weekend days like today. There are so many server exceptions after 8pm est that mornings would be a good time to make up for it. Pretty sure maintenance used to be an hour earlier for MLB. 7-8am not terrible but 7-9 is not great. Working people with kids have to pick creative times to play. Early morning and late at night are about it for people like that. Since release, it’s been difficult for people to find times to play when the game is functional.

The worst thing about it is that I don't remember so much screwed release like this one. Yes, there were many people comming from Xbox, but wasn't that expected? 15 days since early access release and we are basically where we were at April 16. And I don't know, I'm not looking that much, but I haven't seen any sincere statement from SDS saying "Hey guys, we know we screwed up, be patient please, we are sorry". Only thing I can see is silence.

Almost 3 hours after the game up date and a server maintenance the game is till unaccessible.
It's disappointing. -
