Tatis Jr still not in lineup for online ranked play

Tatis Jr who is the face of the game has not been in the lineup for online rated play since the launch of this game and I understand he was hurt but he has been back now for over 2 weeks, does anyone know why? It says they update the rosters daily?

Same with Tim Anderson of the White Sox. Has been back for a week but not avail in online rated.

They haven’t updated the rosters yet; it will be updated Friday unless the server issues make them delay it. I don’t think it will since they added Topps Now this Friday.

Is that going to be their cadence? Update the rosters once a week on Fridays? Where did you read that?

Yes. For regular ranked online play they only update the rosters & ratings every 2 weeks. Because there’s so many games per week it would be near impossible to update them once a week (like Madden) the way stats change and players go to and from the DL.

I thought Transaction and Roster moves happened every Friday.
And Upgrades happened every other Friday

This is correct. Once they start the overall ratings will get changed every 2 weeks with transaction moves occurring every week.

However, there is always a delay in the first update after launch

They mentioned it in one of their streams/videos but besides that...its how they've done it for the last few years.

It should be Friday !! The first update roster ... Hopefully, I think !! Last year the roster updates were every Friday. Also, the players decreased or increased ratings were every two weeks last year. But this year with the wacky servers who knows !! Hopefully Friday...
