Im new to The Show, so I could be missing something here. Why is it that when my pitch timing is perfect are my pitches getting absolutely smoked seemingly everytime?

Perfect placement doesn't mean you can't hit it, the same as a perfect hit doesn't mean it can't be out. All it means is you lined up everything timing wise on your pinpoint control.

Also, depending on the input type you’re using, there is a greater or lesser margin of error in there. In order to address good input pitches missing their spots (which was an issue throughout last year), pinpoint pitching was introduced this year.

I can’t speak to whether gravity balls still exist using pinpoint this year, as I’m still using analog.

Oh I totally get that, it just seems like a good 80 percent of my "perfect" pitches get stroked for extra base hits. Must be just a coincidence.
