PS5 Digital Download not Working with Jackie Robinson Deluxe

I purchased the ps4 physical copy of MLB The Show 21 Jackie Robinson deluxe version that was supposed to come with the dual entitlement for PS5 (digital download). I entered the code and got all other content except the PS5 download. I have reached out to MLB the Show and have got nowhere. I have already been in contact with two representatives from PSN and did all the troubleshooting tips and still nothing. I am beyond irritated at this point. I paid for content that isn't being provided. Anyone else have this problem or have any suggestions how to help?

Welcome to the club! MANY MANY others with the same problem. I spent 3 hours on Sony support live chat with no results and no answers to remedy the issue since we couldn’t fix it.

Well since we still had not received any guidance for our issue, I have until today according to my receipt at GameStop to get full refund return. I am taking my JR physical disk back in and switching to the PS5 disk. Likely the best option.

man i feel for you guys, smart delivery on xbox is a much easier way. only issue is the extra 30 gigs on xbox because it downloads both versions and then plays the version on which system you are on. no console war here i own both but i perfer the series x over ps5 at this point

There is a boatload of users having the same problems as us on opssports. At least if SDS told us something... but no.

I would recommend just returning your version and buying the digital download.... that’s what I did
