Do ppl actually use directional hitting? I've only tried it like once and thought it seemed much more difficult to hit.

You are at a massive disadvantage. Anyone who cries about directional just uses that as something to pin the loss on instead of them being bad at the game

If your opponent is using Directional, you will not see the yellow circle in the feedback section. At least I think that's how it works

So what's the benefit? Why would anyone use it?
The benefit is not using a PCI to hit, just press X or Square and be on time. Problem is, when you use it, it's all RNG based. Zone is more rewarding because you have more control over the swing.
