Year to Year Saves

So I just saw an ad for the game claiming that you get to keep you player cards from MLB the Show 21 forever once you earned them. So there is year to year saves for that, but not for the career mode. Just thought that was interesting.

No year to year saves this year. They only worked for Franchise and RTTS in the past. In Diamond Dynasty you always start from scratch

Technically, you keep them until they shut the DD servers off (typically after 4 years or so.)
It's to differentiate from FIFA, 2K and the like that use contracts.

Oh I see. So it is not bringing them over to 22, you just get to play with them on 21 until the server is shut down. That makes sense.
