Outfielder diving randomly

Lost a couple BR games because sometimes my fielders start diving when the ball is hit. Anyone else have this happen.

What console, it could be a controller issue if you are using an older one

I'm on ps4. My controller should be fine it doesn't start doing random stuff in any other games.

Watch your finger placement. I was freaking out last year because my runners kept freezing. Turns out, I was inadvertently brushing the freeze runners button as I was swinging. I had to grip the controller differently so as to avoid it. I believe it was R2 and that’s the dive button as well.
