I have 14 stars to go until I get this choice. In inning 10 I selected Mike Schmidt, but I didn't do well with him. At the time I sold him, he ws batting .240 with 60 AB. I'm looking at Pujols and Trout, but that will be a tough decision to make. I rarely get to play above All-Star, I only made it to DS once this year, so Trout's vision may not be a huge factor for me. I can't play Pujols at 1B because of Finest Bellinger. Pujols at 3B would remove Finest Lindor. Trout can easily replace Andre Dawson in my OF of Gwynn, Ichiro, Dawson, and/or Griffey Jr (Whom I for whatever reason struggle with).
I never seem to do as well with batters who have pronounced leg kicks (Carlos Gonzalez) and/or a lot of pre=swing motion (Brandon Phillips).
So I ask you forum people...what to do, what to do?

Trout is the Truth 4 tool his arm is questionable lol - Pujols at 3B not too bad - except if a bullet is hit to his left slow reaction almost always a hit

Right now I have Dawson in LF, Ichiro in CF, and Gwynn in RF. I could hide Trout's arm in LF by taking out Dawson.
The problem with Pujols is that if I don't hit well with him there is no place for him on the bench unless I remove Big Frank. People talk about how much depth there is at 3B, but that has been the toughest spot for me to fill all year. I currently use Lindor/Omar Vizquel for diamond defense and the flexibility of a switch hitter in the lineup.

I may end up doing that, but not until I've gotten 60-100 AB with my selection to see if he is a keeper.

Have you tried Finest Bregman @ 3B ? He's a beast also.

Not a bad idea at all. I pulled a LS Bregman from a free pack a week or so ago. Maybe I'll try him out in Conquest to see his swing. If he feels useable I could sell SS Dawson and pick up the Finest Bregman for a negligible loss.

Don't feel obligated, if you don't hit well with Pujols, why would you want him on your bench? If he doesn't perform just sell him and try someone else.

Fully agree - some players I just cant hit with no matter how good a card it is.

You have to try Josh Donaldson at 3B. For about 35k, he's got diamond defense, great power stats and smooth swing. My 3B for the longest (until Finest Arenado) with a quick bat and noticeable power. Worth a tryout, if you decide to sell that 900 star boss pick
