I didn’t say my wife “works at Verizon” my wife works for a multi million dollar company and she works from home. So I was able to get a package that is for businesses and not consumers. Very rare to get. Unless you have fios built for business I’ll take my chances that my internet is better then yours.

CUSTOM LEAGUES took some heat in the community last year so for people ( including myself ) to believe that it’s not returning is actually a plausible shortcoming ENSTEIN!! Do you think SONY SANDIEGO would want to have all these issues when in the game first introduction on XBOX??? No!! They’ll do everything they can to coverup the mess that continues to pile up with every installment!! Gave the reason that the mode was taking up a ridiculous amount of space on the server.
They did tell us, like a few days before the games release if I remember quickly. That wasn't cool. They let people pre-order before they told us. And you know what, people found out before they told us. They probably weren't going to say anything but since it got out they were forced to make the announcement.
The online franchise mode was the most realistic online mode they had. It was a ton of fun, especially if you got into a well run league with dedicated players. Yeah, it wasn't the most played mode. It did take up server space. But I think it comes down to money. It wasn't making them much besides the 60 bux they got from the game purchase. -

So you have all this data being created on servers and just taking up space that isn’t being used.
And the custom leagues they created was a good replacement.

Coming from some guy who sounds like he never touched the mode which only confirms he or she is DD dumpling! OMG!! Like what basis do have about any server mismanagement’s when the DEVELOPERS said it out there mouths that it was CODE that was slowing the mode down and NOT OTHER MODES!! CUSTOM LEAGUES took some heat in the community last year so for people ( including myself ) to believe that it’s not returning is actually a plausible shortcoming ENSTEIN!! Do you think SONY SANDIEGO would want to have all these issues when in the game first introduction on XBOX??? No!! They’ll do everything they can to coverup the mess that continues to pile up with every installment!! That would be the main reason why OFM wouldn’t make the cut while you have all these “ GENIUSES “ on this forum bringing up those 2017 stats like that’s the reason! NO!!

SDS when they announced they dropped OFM they cited two issues. Space it was taking up on their current servers and having to recode OFM to move it over to their new servers. It sucked they waited so late to announce it, but on their end it seemed like it wasn't something they wanted to do.
We went two years with no online league type mode until Custom League came in 2020. It's not anything like OFM except you can play with friends. It was pretty bare bones, but it allows for a OFM feel without a major impact on their servers.
You continue to whine about Custom League being cancelled and want everyone to cancel preorders because you miss OFM. They aren't related though, not even close.
It must be real depressing to get so either up over this and hardly anyone agrees with your take. Of course given the way you interact with people why would anyone want to associate with you.

How come this guy is still here, flaming everyone, while I was suspended for 5 days because I mentioned factually that people with handicaps and disabilities were able to participate in an event called the Special Olympics, which is a good, and heart warming event. But this dude comes here and insults anyone who doesn’t play the same mode. Amazing.

Online franchise is a bunch of sour grape players that quit if they lose a few games for the most part. That mode died out and all the really good players started playing DD a few years ago. That mode is only competitive in your mind. In order for it to be competitive you need a group of competitive ppl...if you are playing mlb 17 you aren’t playing competitive ppl.
You are playing with a bunch of people you played with for years prob. You and all your friends jump on mlb 21 you’d get obliterated.

You're full of it. DD players quit if they give up a couple runs lmao. There were excellent players in OFM. Very competitive. The mode didn't die out they took it out so there servers could run better with all the microtransactions that they make all DD players do now. smh.
