Throttling xp

I was getting 500 xp per half inning of pitching it's down to 180. In a 3 inning conquest game I would get around 4000 a game, now it wont clear 2000

As far as I know XP is not based on an inning count but what you do in an inning.
Have a lot of deep counts and get some hits and score some runs off the CPU when you are up to bat and you can earn 1,000 or more points for that half inning. Strike out 3 times in a row on 9 pitches and you will get a fraction of that.
Same goes for pitching. The better the performance the more XP. The worse the performance the less XP.

I would have a quick 3 out inning and it would be 500 when I'm pitching, same exact thing and it would then be 180, I'm aware that it is based on performance but it is obvious that if your progressing to fast they will slow down your xp gain.
