Man I’d love to see a 9 versus 9 online mode similar to NBA 2k’s mycareer/park/rec. especially now that we are moving into next gen gaming. I know 9 vs 9 may be more difficult with that many players but it could also be 8 vs 8 with the AI being the pitchers.

Or maybe 3 vs 3 . One person controls the pitcher and catcher, one person is outfielders and the other person is the infielders and then rotate every inning. Would really like to see something like that being worked on over A mode like MTO.

I seriously doubt that the game will ever go 9v9. That would be boring as hell, especially if you are playing with 9 really good players because you'd sit all game long, doing nothing except bat.

I could see 3v3 though but I don't think that would go over that well either.

I'm curious on what people think about this idea though

I would like it. Have to have mini games in dugout like poker or something while you wait to bat.

3v3 each player provides 1 silver, 1 gold and 1 diamond then team votes on list of pitchers and bench?

Make the left outfielder for example in RTTS and play the whole game, not just key actions. You can try there, how much fun it would be

Squads for TS? Lmao you got to be high.

I mean it would be a great idea if you got some reading or paperwork you need to catch up on while wanting to play a video game.

Any type of COOP SDS would really have to implement some sort of balance and severe punishments for the trolls. Yknow the people i'm referring too, the ones that quit as soon as other team scores. "The Quitters!"

    3 v 3 would be perfect.

Infield/Outfield/Pitcher&Catcher the obvious positions choices. 3v3 also allows you to bat once per inning.

When you play real players the ball is put in play a lot. You’ll need to cover bases and run to cut of spots manually, you’ll need to actually make the jump on defence and not just have the CPU control the team 95% of the time. You’ll need to do things you don’t in DD or you’ll get run out of the building and have no teammates to play with.

3v3 with friends sounds infinitely more fun that repeating conquest maps, single player games are boring enough

Totally understand MOST people are just causal baseball fans so I get 9 v 9 could be boring for some , I’d still love it to be an option tho, I mean FIFA does a an 11 v 11. And there can be a lot of standing around not doing much but atleast it’s still an option. But ya 3 v 3 online, like madden does with their ultimate team would be awesome as well. Or maybe some kind of co-op experience through RTTS where you and a friend or you and friends can be on the same team together with each of you’re created players.

As someone who loves baseball and grew up playing it for many years, yes that would be fun, and to answer your question, that’s how I play ALL my RTTS players. I play the whole game pitch by pitch , not just key moments . Because I enjoy a realistic feeling experience. I understand a lot of people who play this game are just casual fans and some would be bored standing around, but another point id like to bring up is how easy it is to put the bat on the ball in this game, not saying it’s easy to get hits but to be able to put wood on ball is very very easy, which would make for a lot more action then in RTTS where there’s more cpu strikeouts.

I mean Idk how much the show you’ve played , but there is a lot of action in the OF with how easy it is to put bat on ball in this game. Maybe not in offline modes where the cpu strikes out a lot but if you play online, you know how much action there is.

I think it is the best way to play RTTS as well i don't simulate anything. Makes it so much more gratifying!! Actually i play all 162 games in Franchise as well.

I don’t remember what game allowed us to play 2 v 2, but i know there was one game in the 2000’s that did. It is possible to do that as tech has advanced. But would sds want to?

I’d also probably play RTTS a lot more if me and a friend could play on the same team and bat after one another, win a WS together sort of thing. Playing against them would be fun as well in a connected RTTS sort of mode. I really hope SDS expands on create a player modes in the future on next gen consoles.

when i was 5 years old i would get all my stuffed animals and put them all in my front yard to play baseball. i'd pitch, hit, field, with all of them. I can manage. im not giving up all that okay. OKAY!

    ok

A connected rtts would be a blast to play. Games whip by so quickly it wouldn't take much time at all. [censored], that would be fun playing vs a few friends
