This game knows if I look away for just a second. I've been playing RTTS and simultaneously watching YouTube videos on my computer directly next to my monitor, and I swear that every time I look away for a split second while on base I get picked off. It's happened probably 6 times this week- BUT THEY NEVER THROW OVER OTHERWISE. I'm not even taking leads!! The last three times it's happened I've just been speechless. It's uncanny!

If you've never hear from me again, it's because I know too much. Tell my wife I loved her.

That whole post made me laugh. I never get picked because I do the same, watch YouTube while playing rtts and when I'm on base, I hold to the base so that doesn't happen

Thank you for the laugh though.

My theory is that this happens when the game doesn’t want you on base so the score can be ‘corrected’ to what the game wants it to be.

There are times that you can beat the super fast pickoff attempt and other times when you can’t.

I think you’re on to something. I tried naming my RTTS player John Connor and the game deleted itself from my hard drive and throttled my Internet speed.

I find that the fact that someone actually made a product they named Soylent stupefying. I guess they're banking on most people having never seen the movie, but still. Come on.

I was going to name my team Down with Skynet but it kept getting erased in real time.
