ive played around 20 games give or take, not 1 spammy player - many are even as respectful to wait a few seconds after a pause for BP change / PH etc.
thanks for the wonderful weekend playing this game online with you
far too much negative stuff in the news right now and i wanted a post here to give the respect to ya online
and whoever Young Guns is - one of your dudes absolutely obliterated me right away in the 1st - you all have the eyes of a tiger - you made Forrest Whitley have a 54 ERA

Early access people ...the ones who really care about the game...the spammy ones will be here on the 17th

You know it’s true. I played a ranked game the other day against a guy who was really $hit talking me via message after I fell behind 3-0, then 4-0.
I told him I was really struggling with the pitch speeds and he kept on me, telling me I sucked, etc.
Things got very quiet after I hit a 3 run bomb with Chad Pinder and a grand slam with Whitt Merrifield in the same inning.
He came back to win 8-7, but messaged GG after all that and apologized for being a [censored].
Hopefully things will remain civil after the early access is over.

I have never understood why ppl msg others to talk garbage to them. It baffles me. As if being good at a video game is some badge of honour. I will take being phenomenal in my career and to my family over a video game anyday of the week.
I grew up playing high level hockey and football. I talked [censored] on the ice/field. Lots of it lol. The difference there is consequences of actions is in play. I fully accepted that my body may get punished for whatever came out of my mouth.

Chirping on the ice is a big part of the game. Also, you are there in your opponent’s face, and as you said, can face the music directly.
Do you watch Letterkenny? Shoresy is the master of chirping on the ice.
