Foul Balls

Just wanted to post this here for you to see, hopefully we can strike out people more often in TS21... 55 foul balls through 5 innings.
My started had 115 pitches thrown heading into the 6th.

The thing that I don’t get about this is, how does the batter foul off so many pitches and yet never put anything into play?
Yes, I agree, there are too many foul balls, if more of them actually went fair into play, it would be less of a problem.

Its cause you casuals play DD, when you play Franchise and test Sliders for about 50 hours you find realistic results or just download one from Operations Sports if you don't want to spend that much time testing.

I had an opponent check swing something like 33 times through 7 yesterday. Of course only 3 were strikes although none of them on the swing. All called strikes

Yea, I just lost to a guy that checked 20 times and fouled off 39 pitches. He was early on everything and couldn’t get on base, then he had a 6 runs inning and all went downhill from there.
They sit fastball and foul or check everything else until the meatball is forced.

This guy was the opposite. He would be late on fastballs and early hammer breaking balls in the zone but check swing on breaking balls out of the zone
