Custom Leagues returning? Cross Play available if yes?

Hoping to get some insight from anybody that has either heard, found or knows.

We have a VERY STRONG custom league group of older adults that greatly enjoyed the custom league availability and are hoping to expand because of new users in the Xbox space.
