Penalty For Requesting FQ While Losing

In the latest even in the 10th or 12th inning I've tried FQ, batter passes. Sometimes bites him in the [censored], sometimes me.

If every player got rewarded hr. For dashboard quit. No one would do it, unless they are helping their buddies. But real game no one would ever dashboard period!

I requested an FQ yesterday in RS when I was down 2-0 with no outs in the 6th and runners on 2nd and 3rd. I felt the game had swung in my favour so I thought I’d be a smart [censored] and give him the opportunity to leave.
Needless to say I tied the game within two batters on a 2 RBI hit.
Unfortunately I left Kirby Yates in for two batters too long in the 9th and he scored the go ahead for the win.

To be fair, after 12 innings of flailing, I want the game to count for something. Even if I take the L, my pitcher innings are accumulating. FQ after that long is literally a waste of time.

Regarding FQ, who cares. They are never used legit. That's the bottom line. The fact that you and I are arguing over it, is pointless. Just like hitting O in the FQ, you could have ignored the post by me and move on. Instead, you got snide. I replied.
Don't care what you do for a living. I'm 47 and work with kids all day too. I also reply to kids on these forums.

Yeah. Technology and programming. Not a teaching degree. Degree is in finance along with securities licenses.
So yeah, I work with kids.
So you don't teach, but you have a degree in financing..... I'm pretty sure children aren't doing anything related to finances until high school....
I took over technology for my kids school when the teacher left because of covid-19. I have enough programming background to fix a private school infrastructure network and keep classes running. I don't need a team and because it's a private Catholic school, I'm basically doing it for free.

Ohh.. I apologize for not replying to the conversation sooner and from now on I’ll follow your advice! But first I’ll have to quit working so many hours and also tell my family that I can’t be disturbed at any time during the day. TLDR friendly quits are a part of this game which is a good thing. You should quit normally instead of shutting of the machine because your game will get corrupted over time and that’s a fact so there’s a helpful friendly tip because I care about you and your game.

Removing FQ. Leaving FQ for the abusers that will catch 1 out of 20 unlucky people. To each their own.
Telling me to move on and just hit O? Same can be said for removing it, since y'all don't use it apparently, you won't miss it.

Why even make a post, honestly? All you have to do is hit the decline button and continue to play. But trying to say they should be banned for 24 hours of online play is childish. But hey, so is the original post.

Agree with OP 100%. For one thing, I see way too many “top players” dodging each other in ranked bc they’re scared of playing a close game and potentially losing. I think you should be forced to play who u match with

No. Friendly quits before the first pitch are usually to avoid playing a good player. The ones after the first pitch have a better chance of actually being for a good reason.
Good reason or not, they never get accepted. I’ve literally never had a friendly quit accepted after the first pitch. So there’s no point in having them after first pitch. If you only allow them before first pitch it will at least stop people from tricking other people into accidentally accepting a friendly quit.

A recent opponent had the brass neck to ask for a "Friendly" Quit while losing 6-0 in the 3rd inning.
I think that if/when such things are reported, the offending player should receive - at minimum - a 24-hour ban from playing online.
I also think that the game should incorporate a system whereby it's not possible to ask for an FQ beyond a certain threshold, or better still requiring more than one button press to accept an FQ.

Some of you take your video games way too seriously. A ban because someone asked for a FQ while losing? TF am I reading? Just decline it and keep playing. Your opponent will probably quit anyway.
The uselessness of what people like you choose to care about in a video game is astounding.
