Big L for this one..all their is too look forward to for 2 more months is events...events is supposed to be for casual online players and legend difficulty takes that fun away..
Man vs nature I think will be back

I am 1-3 . I am a casual player, I am glad it is just 3 innings. All me games were 3 innings no extra innings so far. All games won on HR.
-
10-5 now but I feel dirty as my last win came on a suicide squeeze bunt with Foxx (after Mondesi pinch ran for Soto and stole 2B and 3B). This isn’t baseball.....
-
Gave it a try and won four of my first five games. Surprised myself. Was hitting semi-OK. Not getting as many Ks as I thought. Then hit a rut. Maybe because I was getting tired. deGrom is tough with that 102 on legend. Sitting at 5-3, which is actually a better record than I had last event. Maybe legend isn’t as daunting as I thought (as long as it’s not fastball outlier)

I just have to keep reminding myself, as I strike out 7 times in a 3 inning game, that my opponent is on legend difficulty, too. All it takes is one low fastball that I can run into...

Been getting very similar results as if I was playing on Allstar. HOF may be the sweet spot for this game. All 5 of my games I’m just puzzled with the results.
Only upside is the good ol SDS pitch down the middle doesn’t always get jacked due to pci placement needs to be more accurate.

Never play on legend really but it's so much better than AS anything is better than AS tho. I'd rather lose on legend than win on AS can't stand it totally ruins any enjoyment.

yeah, I'm actually digging this event. For once not every single pitch I throw is hit to the moon. I've actually won games against WS players and goons.

It's actually bad for me right now because my net is terrible but still rather this than AS. Only played 3 games lost 2 won 1 drunk AF also but yeah AS I absolutely can't stand it.(AS)
Same goes for why i don't play BR

If BR was on legend I would definitely play it

Just goes to show that universal pitch speeds is not such a far fetched idea. It’s popular to say all the “casual” players in the 4-500’s would complain if HOF pitch speed were constant throughout 400-800...

Thats a very interesting idea. I have noticed on legend that my pitches don't hang (as often) like they did on AS. When I hang the occasional pitch on Legend it doesn't get destroyed.

I agree with HOF is the sweet spot, gives everyone a chance. Legend is a bit too difficult for me but ive been enjoying the event so far, doing better than i though

I just threw a ten inning combined no-hitter in this event. I struck my opponent out 24 times.
I only had four hits myself, struck out a mere 19 times and stranded 6 runners. David Ortiz was 3/4 with the walk off.
I think it is more the timing windows than the pitch speed that gives me trouble on legend, and to a lesser extent, HOF.

oh man I'm having a blast. blew the last game with the 'pen but it was a great game.
