The 1st inning curse!
-
How many of you quit if you’re opponent scores more than 1 run in the first inning? I myself am guilty of this. Now.....with that being said, I’ve also come back from a 6-0 deficit to win games. But it just seems like the first inning is cursed to me. I’d say 85% of my games somebody scores in the first!

I am more so 2 to 3 runs down in an event I quit

I don't quit, but going down early in the 1st makes sense. You haven't had time to really see what your opponent struggles with, so you don't know how to approach pitching, it's a constant battle of adjustments.
-
The real curse is denying a FQ before a pitch is thrown. Guaranteed L if you do that.
-
Don’t quit. Was just down 3-0 in RS after 2 and won the game 6-3. Too easy to hit a bloop and a blast so you’re never out of it if you’re only down a few runs.
-
I never quit. I seem to be much better at hitting from innings 5-9 as I get used to my opponent. NEVER QUIT!
-
I get frustrated from the screen lag while batting and sometimes rage quit
-
I was down 10-0 after three a month ago. I didn’t quit and win 11-10 once I was rewarded. It’s hard to not quit when you line out repeatedly and your opponent gets every swing timing hit allowed
-
I never quit. No free wins in competitive play.
-
Done it. If I match vs a guy with like 100 games over 500, and I’m throwing filth that he’s fouling off or not chasing and eventually crushing. I’m not good enough to keep up. Depending on who he’s tossing vs me too as I know who I’m not great vs and who I can hit to try and keep up with

I know the comeback logic is debated heavily on here, but if your opponent scores a lot of runs in the first, in my experience that usually means it’s gonna be a high scoring game and both sides will be rewarded in some capacity. Other games if your opponent can’t score, neither will you. So if I go down anything less than 10 I always feel like I’m in the game
-
I will only quit in a event if it's 6 innings and I need a bunch of wins to get the reward. I don't want to waste the time in a game I am pretty sure I will end up losing. Often when my players make errors or the other team gets the bloop singles on good pitches or fouls off every single pitch in the dirt then I know it will be a long game and I'm better off just quitting and moving on for a quicker W elsewhere.
-
Yeah, events are completely different. I just want to get wins as fast as possible so there is no point trying to stage a comeback sometimes when you can just take the L and get an easier opponent the next game.
