If you made world series recently you really earned it. Im trying to make progress but keep getting matched up with world series/12 and 0 players every game. Im in the 600s. How is anyone supposed to make any progress or enjoy this game aside from all the other issues? Id like to make a gradual climb at least to CS but when every game your getting matched with guys who hit .500 with every player and 2 divisions higher than you its borderline impossible. Maybe its just me but find it pretty ridiculous among all the other issues. Overpowered RNG, Perfect/Perfect outs 90 percent of the time, 900 check swings per game etc. Anyways congratulations to anyone who made world series recently and worked your way up. You really earned it

This late in the game, a lot of these guys haven’t been playing RS so their starting ranking is lower than normal. I have run in to it a lot as well.
I knock a few of them off, lose more , but if the game is in AS it’s just awful on both sides.
I think if someone makes WS they should never drop below 750 and always play on HOF. ( I would be fine playing all my RS on HOF)

I agree, players matching up with world series caliber guys on all-star makes for a bad experience. I don't feel good playing those lower ranked teams who are just trying to work their way up. You should have to beat WS players to get into WS obviously, but not in the 600s on all-star

Just made WS and every game was an absolute sweat fest. I’ve been quarantined due to the virus so I’ve been able to put a lot of time into practicing and every game was close the whole way

HOF is worse than AS this year.

What surprises me is how some of these good players resort to questionable tactics when the outcome of the game is in jeopardy.
I’ve seen quite a lot of bunting, stealing attempts, extra steps... in fact this is becoming my normal opponent in the .500’s lately.

I know what you mean, but I have never heard stealing as questionable behavior. That is on you to control and prevent, it’s nit a glitch in the game like the other two that guys try and exploit.

They won’t got to HOF pitch speeds because too many casuals would cry

Perfect example, I haven’t played much RS lately and am in the 580s as I start the season (usually reach CS around the 820s when playing well).
Just matched up with a guy who has a top rating near 1080. I recognized his name and he took the friendly, but he would have lit me up like a Christmas tree to the point of brutality playing on AS ( I would have hung in there and lost a game in HOF)

No, I’m not suggesting stealing is an exploit, but when players are repeatedly trying to bunt for hits and stealing third base with Mantle, I’m not really a fan. It’s not the stealing per se, but the constant attempts to work that part of the game.
Like a player I matched up with earlier had 998 stolen bases on the year, and about three bunt singles in the game.

Yea that’s me. I just got the game in Nov and build a pretty nice team grinding, but I don’t even play RS anymore because every game is against WS caliber players. Had to play 60 games in the event just to get Belli due to playing players ranked way above me. I’ll probably try battle royale I guess lol
