I just made the switch from Xbox 1 to PS5 two weeks ago. First game I downloaded was the show obviously. I’ve been grinding pretty hard because I love baseball and really like the show. I’m currently a level 78 bronze with a diamond dynasty record of 15-16 I believe with mostly 99ovr players that are available in the community market. I have played maybe 2 opponents that were below diamond. All of my opponents have been diamond or prestige. Brutal matchmaking for a noob like me that’s been playing for 2 weeks. Idk.

Thank you for listening to my Ted Talk,

If you’re 78 bronze, getting matched up with diamond and prestige guys, and your record is 15-16, I think you’re pretty dang good.

Don't pay attention to the levels. All of those high level guys are from card collecting, not playing games.

Not worth it, just sell me your ps5 at retail price, k thanks

Thanks. I’ve been watching YouTube videos on how to hit non-stop. I can’t quite get down pitch recognition.

I can buy that. I’ve only played 30-32 games, but grinded moments to acquire players. Dudes record looking like 361-350.

Agree with this. A high level just means they play the hell out of the game and will have some better cards more than likely, but not necessarily an indication of skill. There are some great budget cards that you can get and field a competitive team rather quickly.

SDS

You also have to take into account that a lot of people who are still playing now have been playing since the game dropped. With all the XP available this year, most people still around are probably at least diamond

Yea like my team is pretty nice. 98 ovr but I dont have the Griffeys and Sotos like a majority of players.

Facts. It’s probably not many people below diamond still playing.

SDS

You'll get them eventually. In the meantime hone your skill and just enjoy playing the game. Its a great one IMO. Plus I think it helps to use the budget cards first. It will give you a good feel for players, attributes, swings, etc.
