How do you throw cancel?

You have to turn it on in the settings and hit the throw button twice. Also, I’m not entirely sure if it works if you don’t use button accuracy

Tap the button before the throw is released

I would suggest practicing it offline to get used to how it works as I made some big mistakes when I first turned it on...

I used buttons when I first got the game and then switched to button accuracy later. Throw cancelling works for both and is in the settings like Mitch said.

As an example, if you choose to throw to second by hitting triangle, as long as he hasn’t released the throw yet, you can change your throw to first by pressing circle.
