I know this has been a crazy year, but when will we have an announcement about a cover athlete? Also, was wondering about will the game be going to Xbox in 21, I understand you guys said “As early as next year” meaning 21. But that can either mean it will be or not. Just wondering. I understand there’s not much you can do if you guys are not all in the studio. Hope to see some info soon.

My interpretation, given my experience w/ project management, public relations, and game design:
When October hit, the design team hadn't reached the development benchmarks they had set for themselves. So they put off any announcement until January as they crunch the last 2 months of 2020 and see how far they get.
You'll see some sort of announcement when the calendar rolls. How much progress they've made in the interim will determine what that announcement is.
