I’m not serious, but I’ve been pining for the card and probably won’t ever get it, so it got my wheels turning. Is this ever a thing? Where people have friends who are better at the game play for them under the friend’s account?
Ya I am pretty sure I have dealt with it a couple times. There were like two or three times where I played someone who literally couldn't get a hit the first five or six innings, couldn't even hit the ball hard, swung at everything in the dirt and above the zone then all of a sudden in one of the later innings they go off for like six runs and are hitting everything hard and taking bad pitches. They could have made an adjustment but to me that is more than just making an adjustment. They probably passed the controller over to a friend.

Cards been out a whole week and already there have been over 100 sold.
Last season, there were at least 2000 people to make World Series (and likely MANY more).

I used to make WS every season. No clue what’s happened this year, except I can’t pitch. I did get to 896 one season this year, but it’s not a concern really. The game isn’t designed in such a manner that you can improve your skills and be competitive, so what’s the point trying get over the meaningless 900 rating hump anyway?

Agreed!! It used to mean something, it no longer does!! I can’t tell you how many times I call for a cutter or fastball on the corner and it ends up right over the middle.....and then over the fence. NOT user input either!!

It most definitely is a thing. I’ve seen users on Instagram charge people to finish showdowns, programs and other boosts. It’s not expensive, but do you really wanna spend more money than the $60 or more you already spend for the game itself?

I may or may not have helped a few friends out in the past by playing on their accounts to make WS when they asked me to. It's a violation of TOS that could get both players banned though, so I wouldn't neccessary recommend advertising/discussing it.
