Will the coronavirus effect content releases and overall supportof the game?

I know there are bigger things in life then the show but just wondering if SDS has a contingency if things get bad and there becomes a lockdown.

If the the season is postponed, which seems more likely now with the suspending of NBA games and the ban on large gatherings in some of the cities with teams.
The game can definitely go on. We would get no player updates. Moments based on the season would be out.
RTTS would be fine.
Franchise would be fine.
DD would suffer some but they could pivot to more historic based moments to cover the gap. Market speculation would be worthless since players would not be upgraded. But Ranked Seasons, Events, BR, Showdown, Conquest should all be mostly fine. -
Better not. I’m looking for a nice quarantine from work. What better way to spend my time recovering.
I also happen to work at a large hospital. I’ll trade SDS masks, sanitizer, and toilet paper for an uninterrupted game season! -

I believe that DD will be affected for the reasons listed above. Seattle already has to look for an alternate place to play games and that is IF the season continues. I would imagine baseball will at least get a delayed start. I could see the season not starting until Late April or May. As mentioned, if the season is delayed or cancelled we will not get Live series updates. This will drastically affect the market. Here is to hoping we get a quick grasp on this virus and our leaders make the best decisions for all involved.

They didn’t do this for SARS, Ebola, H1n1 or any of the other MORE DEADLY virus’ they didn’t have medicine for. One must understand that those more deadly contagions happened at a time when those in charge of propaganzing things like this were far less inclined to use them.
And it is not a new virus and yes it is way out of proportion. Sad no doubt but way out of proportion the coverage. -

I definitely understand the sentiment as it is all over media, but it is hard to ignore it because it could potentially have an affect on the game that we are all here to discuss. It all depends on what actions MLB will take.

That's the beauty of America. We are free to post and discuss the topic and you are free to choose not to click on the subject and only read the ones you are interested in.
Unfortunately, this topic has correlation to this game. So I believe it has a place for discussion and those that wish to not participate are not forced to do so.

That’s because you don’t read or get informed. The problem for Corona is that you can have the virus and be contagious 4 days BEFORE displaying symptoms, not the case for SARS and Ebola. H1N1 was an influenza. Just because authorities were being careless before doesn’t mean we should continue to act like it. With the overpopulation now, it will be more and more common. Panic? No, but not dismissive either.

I have a wife that has progressive MS, she's on a Chemo like treatment that leaves her with little white blood cells in her body, my stepdaughter had heart surgery as a baby so her heart disease now becomes an issue, i'm in WA state and for some of us this is a real worry.
