99 overall team
-
Seems pointless that SDS wouldn’t release enough relievers so that players can have a legit 99 overall team.

Your argument is with MLB history, not necessarily SDS. Managers typically want to maximize the amount of innings thrown by elite arms. Which is why most of your pitchers capable of throwing up 99s tend to be starters, not in the pen.

It has been know that SDS juices attributes anyways so that the cards can be more usable

In the grand scheme does it matter though? One of the best relievers in the game is a 92

Rob Nen? If so, is he better than the 95 one?
Also, don’t sleep on 87 Zach Briton. -

Gotcha -
Is Romo good on all star difficulty? I know he is good on hall of fame and legend but I mostly play on all star and when I get into hall of fame difficulty I seem to always play lower teams

So true to look at Eckesley if you look at FA in rosters. Totally different than DD Eck. To me it’s because without a curve he would be toast. I actually prefer those FA stats to the ballooned stats in DD.
Stats don’t matter anyway to a certain degree as some dudes outplay them.
They are probably better off with having a tier grade for individual player and team ratings A+, A, A-, B+ etc. might be better than the diamond or gold distinction. I think an overall team rating is a waste too when you think about it. It might be better if the grade rating was only given to each category. Hitting, power, defense, bench, speed, SP, bullpen -
I agree that they should have 99 overalls at each position it's stupid that there aren't any 99 overall relievers.

There are 99s(closers) but there isn't 7 of them, only 5.
