I think they're waiting for ROY Cy young or MVP to be announced before they reveal the game. I think the cover of the game will be like one of the awards card.

I bet they have the agreement with the cover athlete prior to the current baseball season. They likely wouldn't have picked Baez this year based on last years numbers. I would think a Tatis/Soto would make the most sense unless there is someone like Jeter on the cover.
