Griffey keeps diamond defense in the corner outfield Trout only has diamond in center. Mickey is gold defense anywhere

    If it were me:

LF: Trout (because the other two are better suited for CF and RF imo)
CF: Mantle. Better speed than both Trout and Griffey.
RF: Griffey. Least amount of speed, but the best arm.

I made a post about this the other day. I’m currently going:

    LF-Trout
    CF-Mantle(Prestiged)
    RF- Griffey

I’m prob ~80% of the way to Prestige Trout. Then all 3 will have diamond badge.

This is like the ideal use case scenario for examining how dumb secondary position penalties can be.

Griffey in right, since he’s a lefty he’ll get better animations on anything hit into the gap.

That was my thinking also. And for some reason, I get slow animations with Trout in the corners outfield position on [censored] hit in the corners. That’s why i was leaning on putting him in center and Mantle in left

That’s what I’m running right now, if you switched Mantle and Griffey their arm would have to cross their body on [censored] hit into the gap, that’s when you get the falling over and roll or the flat out miss the catch animation.

I'm going Griffey in CF, Trout in LF, Mantle in Rf because of the better arm. Mantle has been a stud in CF so it might just take some trial and errror.

Griffey in RF seems obvious better Arm , Trout Center Diamond shield + Better reaction than Mantle , Mantle LF has Gold shield no matter where on his base card . extremely stupid this card should have had Diamond shield no matter where from the get go his base card should have had like 95 Fielding period day one .

I'll probably roll with Trout in L, mantle in Center, and Grif in Right till prstige, but these are tryouts. Walker is great in Right and is my best hitter so Grif may very well end up booting Trout depending on how this test drive goes.

I already do trout in CF and mantle in a corner. I’ll likely play around with Griffey and mantle as to which corner each ends up.

Trout in LF, Griffey in CF and Larry Walker in RF. Prestige Trout keeps his diamond shield in LF.
