Margot's attempted steal
-
I still can't believe this guy attempted to steal home. I can't remember the last time I saw an attempt. A lot of pitchers would of froze or panicked but Kersh played it well with the assist of Muncy telling him the runners going. This was a game changer. Kudos to Kersh pitching out of that jam. Margot was on third with no outs, then two outs, maybe that's why he went.
Was Jackie the last to steal home in a world series?
How often does it occur in regular season? -

How often does it occur in regular season?I know that Javy has done it a few times.
I believe that Billy Hamilton did it this season also. -
I know Billy Hatcher did it I believe when he was playing for Boston

Being on third with two outs is absolutely why Margot tried. Otherwise, he would have held on and hoped for a sac fly. Mad props to Kershaw and Smith. Margot got a great jump on Kershaw, it took a great throw and a great tag to complete that one.

Just FYI, That was not Smith, It was Barnes, and Muncy telling Kershaw runner was going was key as well.

Check out Jon Berti...he stole 2nd, 3rd and home like 2 months ago.

How often does it occur in regular season?Yeah not too smart in a world series. Usually a runner on first would steal then during the throw the runner at third would go.
