Will changing my online ID on PS4 affect my account or stubs for this game?

I'm considering changing my online ID for PS4, but I noticed that it said that with certain games this ma cause me to loose access to content such as add-ons and virtual currency. Apparently parts of the games and applications might not function properly offline or online. (As in DD?)
Does that mean I could lose my stubs and the cloud data for my account? (I've got 2.2 mil stubs so this would be terrible if this was the case.) Can anyone from SDS shed some light on this?

I also noticed that if you go to the playstation games list there are several MLB the Show games with known issues including 14, 15, 16, and 17.
Is that still an issue for 20?

I believe 20 came out after they started allowing name changes, so I'm fairly certain you should be fine. Even if there were an issue, I believe you can revert back to your original name to fix it.
That being said, I haven't gone through the process myself so I'm sure you would want to wait for confirmation from someone else.

I would doubt it, but I'm not 100% sure.

I changed mine last year and was fine. I can’t imagine it is any different now

Just changed my name on MLB THE SHOW 22 , everything intact. I didn’t lose anything.
