I'm curious to see if they include him in 20

    Jeter.

If his card is even remotely accurate to his real-life attributes, the fanboys will whine like there's no tomorrow.
If they virtually steroid-ize his card, then you may as well give Chuck Knoblauch a 99 Arm Accuracy rating because nothing matters anymore.

I will jump out a window if we see Jonathan Papelbon

Unless they add an animation of him choking Harper because that would be hilarious

Any knuckle ball pitcher and ARod. Jeter would be similar to Yount, Molitor, or Biggio, if they boosted his attributes higher than any of those it would be unfair.

    Joe Carter

Saw what you did there 😉

    For (un)likeability, Bonds for sure.

I find as I'm getting older, I wasted time as a kid despising rivals instead of admiring greatness and can't say there's a legendary rival I wouldn't want to see. I hated the Cowboys so much in the early 90's instead of watching them play. I hated the Braves as an Expos fan, but find it cool as hell they have the Big 3 this year.

Do I want the Astros out of the game? No. Nor did I want the Yankees or Alex Rodriguez out of the game when he was a current player. Now that he is retired, I wouldn't shed a tear if they failed to bring him back. Same with Springer, Bregman, and others. Maybe I'll be over this when they retire. But hey, as of right now, I couldn't care less if they come back to the Show in the very distant future after retirement.

If you dislike Jeter this much (a well loved player) then you prolly are a Red Sox fan or had an awful childhood. Heck maybe even both.

A Jeter would would be similar to Yount offensively, but worse defensively, and with zero positional flexibility if it were accurate. But I have no doubt he'll get a name power boost and have 110 power both ways with 99 fielding

Sadly SS cards are boosted cards, so it really doesn't matter anymore what they did in real life.

Yeah kinda pissed they brought back SS for that reason. Hopefully there will be less this year and it will be more rare or for HOF inductees

Objection, your Honor. Facts not in evidence.

    False. Try Arlington Stadium.

or had an awful childhood. Heck maybe even both.

Irrelevant. My awful childhood ended far before Jeter's career began.

Or you are just a blindsided Yankees fan that doesn't realize Jeter's attributes would be painfully mediocre

They'll be better than that Michael young signature card. That's better than mediocre. Also what mediocre player bats over .300 in a lifetime of 20 seasons?

Michael Young, like most signature cards, is also overpowered compared to real life. I could see Jeter being an Ichiro or Alomar-type hitter working in the game. Depends if the meta is contact hitters or power. Not like he's gonna be in the game anyway

Signature series cards, overpowered or not, is something I think people gotta get used to being around for at least another year or two.

And you're probably right about that though lol. Probably get Arod before we get him. But if we did, they'd get him mid 70s pop, maybe pushing 80, based off how they've done things.

If you want to take it down to 15...

    Magglio Ordonez
    Don Mattingly
    Bill Madlock
    Charlie Jamieson
    Mark Grace
    Al Oliver
    Pedro Guerrero

Tbf, I don't think any of those guys careers can be compared to Jeter, maybe ordonez or Mattingly was pretty good for a few years. And I wouldn't consider ordonez mediocre either. He also had quite a few good seasons, he wasn't special but he was pretty good.
