are there people booting people in Online play?

I was up 7-1 in the 5th, a message appeared on the screen saying connection error and I lost the game but I never lost my internet connection.

Did I get boot offline?

I say just report it and move on. They normally fix it, but other times they don't so I don't know. I just read there are ways for people to obtain your IP and deny your service on the servers somehow and you get booted offline. But I can't attest to how to true that is.

I’m not a tech guy, but I do know it’s possible for people that know how, to boot you.
