Not as long as you think! 2014 was the last time both of them didn't make it

Was really hoping the Tigers would at least make the Wild Card, but with yesterday's blowout loss I'm not so hopeful anymore...

As a Rays fan, I'm not going to lie, I think the scariest matchup for us could be the 1 vs 8 seed. The Blue Jays have played us tough last year and this year. They are loaded with power hitters that seem to read our pitchers well. If they Yankees end up the 8 seed a three game series vs them is scary because of Cole and Tanaka. While the rest of the league kills Tanaka, the Rays can't seem to make adjustments against him. Even though we're 8-2 vs Yanks, a good amount of those wins have come after getting the starters out. I'd much rather face any other team in the first round than those two. We will see though.
